Our Business

The concept of Augesir was born out of an interest in people and a commitment to on-going growth.  The business name, a sort of acronym summarizes that commitment in our philosophy:

Achieving - We take a present frame, the achievement is now, not some far off distant goal, now is all we have, directed towards the future we long for.

Universal Win - In his ground breaking book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People", Stephen R. Covey encourages his readers to "think win - win".  We believe in taking the concept a step further.  In any interaction there are four primary relationships.  The relationship between our company and our staff.  The relationship between our company and our clients.  The relationship between our company and our suppliers/partners.  The relationship between our company and the rest of the world, including our competition.  We are commited to benefit in all of these relationship in each and every deal we make.  Our process of competition is one of constant improvement, we offer new tools, which benefit our competitors, and better service, which raises the bar for the benefit of all.

Growth - Any lasting success comes about through continual growth.  It is our belief, growth is at the heart of the business model and the manner in which business contributes to the world.  We believe in infinite potential and growing into that potential rather than attempting to change it.

Excellence - The greek word for virtue means 'excellence' and we are committed to each of the virtues.  In all our endeavours our standard is the ever rising bar of excellence.  "Excellence is the result of caring more than others think is wise; risking more than others think is safe; dreaming more than others think is practical; and expecting more than others think is possible."

Synergy - Each part working together to achieve a greater vision.  We often become caught up in competition, but how many of us truly desire it?  Here we are focused on the goal of higher achievement, better, fuller and more meaningful lives, working synergistically for maximum effect.

Investment - No great success develops overnight, it is the fruit of short term sacrifices for the longer term gain.  Our interest is in the ultimate vision and each decision is an investment in the achievement of the vision.  On going, long term relationships, loyalty and growth over time remain our focus.

Relationships - We believe in people above all else.  Our focus is on each individual, improving the life and experience of each of those with whom we interact, by manifesting ourselves in positive excellence, providing an example to others, and offering the tools and support for others to achieve this goal.

Augesir, is a word created by Michael Bruce Rosmer, the owner and founder of the company.  It is defined as 'the living state of success', the goal toward which we all aspire, in our personal lives, our families and our vocations, be it business, hobbies, or charity.

Our recognition is of interconnectedness and interdependence.  The best result comes when we assist others in our area of expertise and allow them to assist us in their areas of expertise.  We achieve more my working together in harmony.  We offer leadership in synergy and networking.
